The converted 70,000-square-foot former St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church near Patterson Park was converted into a brew pub and apartment complex. The unique project transformed the 130-year-old granite church with its stately steeple into a dynamic, mixed-use urban space. The Ministry of Brewing occupies the former main church building, while the 37-unit Ministry Lofts are spread across three buildings which formerly served as a rectory, school and theatre.
